We take a holistic approach to education and place a considerable emphasis on developing the cultural life of the students in many ways. Extra curricular programmes run in the following areas:

Musical Productions; Musical Concerts and Christmas Carol Services; Individual music lessons in piano, violin and other musical instruments; College Choir; College Orchestra; Public Speaking and Debating; Essay and Poetry Competitions; College Publications (newsletters and Yearbook) which provide a forum for publication of short stories, poetry and other articles submitted by pupils; Lunchtime Arts & Crafts activities; Gaeltacht Scholarships supported by KWETB, Guest Speakers on various topics of relevance to pupils ; Retreats;

Sports
Pupils participate in a wide spectrum of sporting activities including:
Gaelic Games - Football for both boys and girls, Camogie & Huling
Soccer for both boys and girls
Rugby - Basketball - Athletics - Equestrian Sport - Golf - Badminton.
The College has enjoyed enormous success in Gaelic Games, Camogie and Soccer at both county and regional level.
